Samsung Galaxy Noe 4 Gap

Customers in South Korean posted and tweeted pics showing how easily a business card can slide into the gap between display and frame.

Some claim the gap may pose a risk for water and dirt to gather in the recess and enter the phone. Samsung insists that the gap is part of the design and does not impair quality or function on the Note 4.

Samsung statement regarding the gap:

We assure our customers that all Galaxy Note 4 units meet our strict manufacturing and quality control standards.

The Galaxy Note 4 is important for Samsung to beat Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus entrance in the Chinese market.

This “Gapgate” scandal comes after Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus “BendGate,” where the iPhone 6 Plus can get bent in customers pocket.
