Indeed, yesterday afternoon CD Projekt RED announced the re-release of Cyberpunk 2077 through its Ultimate Edition. This, of course, means having an improved game (Cyberpunk 2077 2.0) fully patched, in addition to including the Phantom Liberty expansion. CD Projekt RED cannot be criticized for redeeming themselves with Cyberpunk 2077. The game debuted with extremely negative reviews on Steam, and today it has “very positive” recent and overall reviews. Taking into account the most recent ratings, 92% of them are positive.
Similar to what Hello Games did with No Man’s Sky, this is one of the few cases where a studio has practically redeveloped a game to give the community what they really expected. Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition will be released on December 5th on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in both physical and digital formats.

Remember that the requirements increased after the 2.0 Update release
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 increased the minimum and recommended requirements of the original game. At a minimum, this base game update set a minimum requirement of a high-performance 4-core CPU such as the Intel Core i7-6700 or the AMD Ryzen 5 1600. The RAM requirement also increased slightly, going from demanding 8 GB of memory to a total of 12 GB.
The new 2.0 recommended requirements have a drastic jump. We are talking about at least an 8-core processor like the Intel Core i7-12700 or an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The RAM requirement increases to 16 GB of capacity. If you are worried about your GPU, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or an Intel Arc A770. These requirements are tied to 1080p at 60 FPS on High Quality settings. If you want to play with Ray Tracing, you will need a much more powerful GPU and resort to NVIDIA DLSS 3.
New recommended requirements:
Processor: Intel Core i7-12700 or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Memory: 16 GB of RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or Intel Arc A770
Storage: SSD with 70 GB of available space
Cyberpunk 2077 will re-launch on December 5th with its Ultimate Edition first appearing on El Chapuzas Informático.
