This is no surprise because its smaller sibling, the Huawei P60 Pro, already held the top spot. As a result, the top two smartphones for photography are both from Huawei.
The Mate 60 Pro+ slightly outperforms its smaller sibling in every aspect, which means better photographic quality, bokeh effect, zoom, and video quality. This translates to an average score of 157 points (out of a perfect 160), surpassing the P60 Pro by one point (156 points) and distancing itself from the iPhone 15 Pro, which accumulates 154 points.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ camera’s strong points include an excellent overall camera performance, allowing it to be highly versatile and ideal for all types of videos and photos in any lighting conditions. The camera is praised for being perfect for photographs with friends and family, as it provides accurate skin tone reproduction even in challenging lighting conditions. Additionally, it features a variable aperture that automatically adjusts to the number of people in the scene, keeping everyone in focus.
The ultra-wide-angle camera allows for capturing large scenes while maintaining a high level of detail, and there is a high level of detail in all zoom distances.
On the downside, the only negative point is the slightly visible limitations in videos recorded under low-light conditions, which differs significantly from its smaller sibling, the P60 Pro – a model with seven negative points.
