Tras solo dos meses las RTX 4070 SUPER y RTX 4070 Ti SUPER ya están por debajo de su precio oficial

They won’t be found in all stores, but some have already started lowering prices on the latest NVIDIA products in the market. Yes, we’re talking about the RTX 4070 SUPER and the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which have already been seen below their retail price, and even below their MSRP in dollars, proving that there’s high demand. In any case, an RTX 4070 SUPER or RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, or even an RTX 4080 SUPER, with a lower price than the official one is always good news for users.

NVIDIA launched three GPUs in January of this year to replace existing models in the market. All represented a small step forward, although perhaps the biggest disappointment was the RTX 4080 SUPER itself. Interestingly, this model has seen the smallest price drop, with its siblings experiencing more significant discounts.

For the NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER 12 GB, there has been a 70 euro drop in price, making it the largest of the three and slightly more attractive. Its MSRP is 599 dollars, which does not include taxes. In Europe, the price is set at 659 euros.

However, German retailer MindFactory has already lowered the price to 589 euros, which will undoubtedly tempt many. The specific model is the PNY RTX 4070 SUPER Verto Overclocked Dual Fan, which runs at 1,980 MHz (2,475 MHz in Boost) and has a power consumption of 220 watts, meeting NVIDIA’s standard specifications.

As for the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16 GB, it has a smaller price drop but remains equally attractive. Its MSRP starts at 799 dollars, translated to 889 euros in Europe. Retailer Plexcom is now offering it for 839.07 euros for the Manli reference model, with NVIDIA’s Reference frequencies of 2,610 MHz in Boost.

The rest of the specifications remain unchanged, with a TBP of 285 watts.

Finally, the RTX 4080 SUPER stands immovable at an MSRP of 999 dollars. It was meant to do what its predecessor couldn’t: sell as many units as possible. Being 200 dollars cheaper than the original RTX 4080, sales were expected to improve, especially when it arrived in Europe at 1,109 euros. However, there was disappointment in its performance.

Despite having better and more powerful hardware overall, it faced an obstacle to increase FPS: the 112 ROPs it shares with its sibling. This limitation has disrupted NVIDIA’s plans as there is only a 3% difference between the two cards, suggesting a complete substitute at a lower price.

As a result, it’s no surprise the card’s price has barely moved since NVIDIA is already offering it for 200 dollars less than its predecessor. Nonetheless, it has dropped from 1,109 euros to 1,092 euros—a negligible difference we wanted to mention, as it likely won’t decrease any further until the release of the RTX 50 series.
