To do this, go to the Xbox Series X/S settings menu, navigate to System>Updates, and download the latest firmware update. This will help avoid the annoying saved game issue. Whether you have experienced this issue or just bought the game on Xbox, it is recommended to update both the game and console for safety. Remember that the game was not initially released for Microsoft consoles, mainly due to the Xbox Series S.
Although it is a current-generation console, it is significantly less powerful than the Series X and PS5, making it more limited. In the case of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios did not release the game on Xbox until they released an optimization patch. As we saw a few weeks ago, this patch reduced VRAM usage by 34% on the Xbox Series S, making optimizations essential. It remains to be seen if the game will run smoothly after the latest updates or if more work is needed for the Xbox version.
