At CES in Las Vegas, Razer announced its new top-of-the-line gaming chair, the Razer Iskur V2. The main focus was on further improving ergonomics, resulting in an even more comfortable and wider seat, as well as enhanced lumbar support. Outside of the gaming segment, Razer’s most advanced model continues to be the Fujin Pro chair.
The Iskur V2 comes in three different designs. You can choose from synthetic leather that combines black with Razer’s signature neon green, an all-black version, or a functional gray fabric option with black detailing. Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s take a closer look at what this chair offers.
The Razer Iskur V2 is designed for users between 1.6 and 2 meters tall, with a maximum weight of 136 kg. The chair features a steel chassis, a Class 4 gas piston, and an aluminum star-shaped base on which five 60mm wheels are attached.
A standout feature of the chair is its lumbar support. According to Razer, the Iskur V2 is equipped with the world’s first adjustable and adaptable lumbar support. Not only can it be adjusted in height and depth to match the natural curvature of the spine, but it can also be rotated, ensuring proper support regardless of sitting angle.
The V2 also offers a reactive tilt system that adjusts to your position without the need for levers. Users can lock the tilt angle up to 152°, and the chair features 4D armrests that can be adjusted up and down, forward and backward, left and right, and inward and outward. A plush memory foam head cushion is also included.
The chair is available in both an EPU-grade synthetic leather version and a fabric version. The synthetic leather option is soft, durable, flexible, water-resistant, and less susceptible to cracking and peeling, while the fabric option is breathable, wear-resistant, water-resistant, and protected against oil and dirt.
Additional specs include a 400mm wide seat, a 493mm lumbar area, and a 510mm shoulder area at the highest point. The chair comes with a three-year warranty.
The Razer Iskur V2 is priced at $649 or €699, regardless of whether you choose the synthetic leather or fabric version. Dr. Matthew Hwu, founder of the 1HP organization, highly recommends the Iskur V2, stating, “The Razer Iskur V2 is not just a chair, but a gaming throne built to withstand the test of time and trends while allowing gamers to conquer in comfort and style.”
