TEAMGROUP lanza sus SSD PCIe 4.0 T-FORCE G70 PRO y G50 PRO

TEAMGROUP announced the launch of four new PCI-Express 4.0 SSDs, namely the T-FORCE G70 PRO, G70, G50 PRO, and G50. Depending on the chosen model, users will have access to different data transfer speeds and can opt for a very compact SSD with a graphene heatsink or choose a more traditional solution with a generous aluminum heatsink.

T-FORCE, the gaming brand of leading memory and storage provider Team Group Inc., continues to push the boundaries of product development. Today, T-FORCE introduces four new gaming SSDs – T-FORCE G70, G70 PRO, G50, and G50 PRO, all utilizing the PCIe Gen 4×4 interface. The SSDs incorporate a controller from the international manufacturer InnoGrit, providing exceptional stability.

Specifications of T-FORCE G70 PRO, G70, G50 PRO, and G50 SSDs

The T-FORCE G70 and G70 PRO SSDs achieve read speeds of up to 7,400 MB/s, while the G50 and G50 PRO SSDs can reach read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s. As for write speeds, the G70 can reach up to 6,800 MB/s, and the G50 is content with up to 4,800 MB/s.

In the best case scenario, a 512GB G70 SSD achieves a read speed of 7,200 MB/s, while the write speed drops dramatically to 2,6000 MB/s. The 1TB model achieves the maximum read speed and a more decent write speed of 6,200 MB/s.

Both T-FORCE G70 and G50 SSDs support SLC cache technology, while PRO variants support DRAM and SLC cache. All four SSDs use Rainier IG5236 controllers produced by InnoGrit, providing excellent stability and peace of mind for gamers in terms of temperature control.

Additional information

Apart from performance differences, T-Force G70 and G50 SSDs come with a graphene heatsink, ensuring compatibility with laptops. If space is not an issue, users can go for a G70 Pro with a generous aluminum heatsink. Although graphene is better, the aluminum solution is superior in this case, due to the larger amount of aluminum compared to a thin graphene layer. However, the prices of these units are not yet available.

Each of the variants offers storage capacities of 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, with the G70 models capable of increasing capacity up to 4TB.

The PCIe 4.0 T-FORCE G70, G70 PRO, G50, and G50 PRO SSDs are equipped with TEAMGROUP’s patented S.M.A.R.T. monitoring software. This allows users to track the SSD’s status and perform quick and easy configurations and tests to verify the SSD’s quality and performance. The PCIe 4.0 T-FORCE G70, G70 PRO, G50, and G50 PRO SSDs will be available at the North American Amazon store by the end of December.
